Through a joint project with the American Film Institute, RetroActif has proudly teamed up with AFI Fest 2007 in their efforts to create a sustainable village and festival environment. By recycling their street pole banners and converting them into beautiful and unique bags, all the festival's VIPs, filmakers and press will carry these bags for years to come. This marks the first time a film festival of this magnitute has reused their own banners to make VIP gift items.
The AFI provides a significant US platform for both national and international cinema as an awards season kick-off event.
